Relationship to HPP: Executive Director at Soft Bones

What do you want the world to know about HPP? HPP is NOT a cookie-cutter disease. Everyone’s journey is unique. Also, just because someone looks healthy doesn’t mean they aren’t in pain or experiencing other symptoms. You really can’t judge a book by its cover.

What motivated you to be a part of this community? I jumped at the offer to join the Soft Bones team. I am blessed to have the opportunity to strive to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those living with HPP. Having a child with medical issues, I understand first-hand what it’s like to navigate a diagnosis. I am fortunate to work with such a wonderful team. It’s amazing how much the organization has grown to meet the many needs of the HPP community.  I am inspired by the patients and their families and look forward to coming to work every day!

What is one fun fact about yourself? Years ago I had a small accessories business with a friend. Our business was featured in a segment of Dina’s Party that aired on HGTV.
