2023 marks the 75th anniversary of hypophosphatasia since being first described, in 1948, by Dr. John C. Rathbun, a Canadian pediatrician. Read more about Dr. Rathbun’s original case here.
On this World HPP Day, we celebrate how far we’ve come, but also recognize how far we still have to go in understanding the impact of low alkaline phosphatase in the body.
